• Role Description:

  We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Dentist to join our team in a dual role, combining clinical practice with mentorship. This is an exceptional opportunity for a semi-retired or retired professional to share their wealth of knowledge and expertise while maintaining a fulfilling clinical role.

  The successful candidate will:

  • Provide comprehensive dental care to approximately 10 patients per day.

  • Mentor a newly qualified NHS dentist, providing guidance and support with NHS systems, procedures, and best practices.

  • Foster a supportive and educational environment for the mentee.

  • Work collaboratively with our dental team to ensure the highest standards of patient care.

• Responsibilities:

  • Perform a full range of general dental procedures.

  • Conduct thorough examinations, diagnose dental conditions, and develop treatment plans.

  • Communicate effectively with patients, explaining treatment options and providing oral health advice.

  • Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to the assigned dentist.

  • Assist the mentee in developing their clinical skills and confidence within the NHS framework.

  • Ensure accurate and complete patient records.

  • Adhere to all GDC standards, practice policies, and health and safety regulations.

• Essential Requirements:

  • GDC registration.
